Since Blue Springs, Missouri native, David Cook, became the most recent American Idol, dozens of fan tributes have been posted online. It seems Cook's music is more than just notes and lyrics, it appears to be inspiring people all over the world.
Melody, 18, from the Philippines spent a week compiling videos and photos from fans all over the world. She connected with fans on message boards and in chatrooms. They emailed her video and pictures and she put them together in an emotional tribute. Cook has always said cancer is close to his heart because his brother Adam Cook suffers from brain cancer. It appears Cook's big heart is helping others as well. You can watch the fan video below. Melody said she spent so much time putting together the video because she really wanted to thank Cook and thought others did too. "I found this kind of project to be practical since people from all over the world can be involved," she said. Comments (1) | Add as favourites (14) | Quote this article on your site | Views: 193 |

AN INTERVIEW WITH DAVID COOK The Lakers return tonight to L.A. for Game 3 of the NBA Finals, and if there's anything we learned from Game 2 it's that it takes talent, luck and some love from the judges (refs, in this case) to win. No one knows this better than American Idol winner David Cook, who will be singing the National Anthem at tonight's Lakers-Celtics showdown.
