ImageIf you do the math on the American Idol Live! Ttour, it looks something like this: 53 performances in 49 cities over 72 days adds up to no love life. But as David Cook gets ready to board the bus, he's not worried about the damper it may put on his relationship with former American Idol contestant Kimberly Caldwell. "I get to do what I love and love what I do, so no, it doesn't put a damper on anything," he told TV Guide between rehearsals and wardrobe fittings.

DCtunes gets an update PDF Print E-mail

ImageIt didn't take us very long to get tired of people dropping or moving songs over at Project Playlist therefor generating errors on our DCtunes player.  So our solution was to get our very own file server and host the music ourselves.  We are proud to announce that we have over 90 songs featuring David Cook on vocals and we will continually search to add more.  There are some very hard to find and unreleased music available for you to stream and listen to through our audio player and we'll soon be adding radio interviews in as a bonus feature to the player.  Songs will always be available on our player unless our file server host goes down which (fingers crossed) we hope doesn't happen often.  If you haven't listened to DCtunes yet you can find it by hovering over the "extras" tab in the navigation bar above and then sliding down and clicking on "DC Tunes."  We hope you enjoy the tunes and if you have any technical problems with the player please let us know through the contact us forms.

ImageToday I set up a facebook page for myself along with a new facebook group for Cook's Crew.  I'm not going to lie to you all, I have no clue what I'm doing with Facebook LOL..but I am trying to get some content in and it looks like I'm going to have to do some reading to learn how to build and design the page.  I did somehow manage to create the Cook's Crew group over there and someone was already kind enough to join our page!  So, if any of you fanclub members or potential members have any experience or tips they'd like to share with us in regards to facebook we'd love to hear it and for crying out loud, send us some friend requests over there please!

ImageThe American tour kicks off on July 1 in Glendale, Arizona and season seven winner David Cook says he is ready.  With his dominating win and soaring popularity, David Cook is the absolute headliner for the tour.  Cook says that he is looking forward to meeting the fans.  "I'm going to get to know the people who put me where I am," he says.  The best part of the tour for runner-up David Archuleta, 17? "There's no judging, so you can't get kicked off."  Expect Kristy Lee Cook to get a little wild.  "The set I have for the tour is rockin' and I'm excited," says Kristi Lee, 24, who had a more country vibe on Idol.  "People will get to see the side of me as a performer who's rocking out.  It'll be fun."
