We started this site for one purpose.  Well, two actually...First was to celebrate David Cook's success on American Idol and within the music community.  Second reason would be to unite Cook fans locally, nationally, and abroad.  Until Cook's Crew, there was no online hometown fanclub.  Now there is, and we want to celebrate David's success by giving back to David and the fans with this site.  In spirit of this, and to show we aren't here to "make a buck" off of DC's fame, we have chosen to operate this website as a non-profit organization. 

Any money raised through sponsors, donations, promotions, subscriptions, or merchandise sale will go towards funding the site.  All profits above and beyond operational costs are donated to the American Cancer Society.  Raising money and awareness will help the ACS find a cure for cancer.  Most all of us have a friend or family member suffering from some form of cancer.  The more we raise, and the more we can help educate the public about cancer, the sooner we'll find a cure.

 Help us raise money and do your part to give back.  Cook's Crew is Proud to be non-profit.
