Cancer isn't prejudice.  It will also take our beloved pets from us too.  If we can find a cure, we also help save our pets as well as family and friends.  To many of us, our pets mean just as much to us as a child.  To watch your pet suffer and battle this disease can be just as devastating as watching a family member go through it.  Unfortunately for us though, pets aren't covered in our health insurance plans.  So doing all you can to help your pet fight cancer comes at a price, a very high one in the end.  To those of you reading this, please consider purchasing pet insurance.

Even if your pet is healthy and happy right now, later down the road you'll find out how expensive it is to do all you can for your pet to extend their life if they develop cancer.  A simple search on Google will turn up countless pet insurance companies, however we'd like to recommend a company called Pet's Best.  It's the insurance we had for Socks and they pay back so much if your pet ever is diagnosed with Cancer.  Another very helpful thing to have is a Care Credit Card.  It's primarily used for health care and a lot of vets are now accepting it.  You can charge all your vet bills onto it and get anywhere from 6 months to a year with no interest.  Pair that with pet insurance and your out of pocket drops drastically.

ImageIn honor of our dog Socks who battled cancer for nearly a year before losing his fight we are selling these "God picks the prettiest flowers" wristbands.  Socks will forever be in our hearts and we know there are others out there who love their pets every bit as much as we do.  Proceeds from the sale of these wristbands will be going to the Magic Bullet Fund.  The Magic Bullet Fund helps people who have a dog with cancer but cannot afford treatment costs.  Canine cancer treatment requires a substantial outlay of financial resources, ranging on average between $600 and $6,000 per dog. Many dog owners cannot support such a large unanticipated outlay. To offer help to such individuals and their dogs, The Magic Bullet Fund provides financial assistance to pay for canine cancer treatments and medicines when the owners cannot.

With our financial sponsorship, the canines we serve receive state-of-the-art veterinary cancer support for their conditions. The Fund’s mission is to provide cancer treatment for dogs whose caretakers are unable to provide treatment; dogs who would not have cancer treatment at all without our assistance.  The Fund’s secondary mission is to heighten public awareness about canine cancer through our ongoing educational efforts. We firmly believe that this work will result in measurable improvement in both canine cancer prevention and early canine cancer detection.  Donations from the sale of these wristbands will be kept seperate  from the other wristbands for sale on our site.

Pet Cancer Wristbands - These lavendar  bracelets are for those pet owners who have lost their furry or feathery friends to this awful disease.  Its sad our beloved pets have to endure this but it's up to us as responsible pet owners to care for them in the best way we can.  There are lots of treatments available that can help your pet live happily and prolong their life while fighting the cancer.  Some pets can even go into remission like people do.  Sometimes no matter how much love you give and money you spend there is no stopping the disease.  If you've ever lost your pet to cancer, or are currently helping your pet through the stages then you might have a particular interest in these bracelets.  Each wristband comes with the following text engraved - "In Memory of our pets who battled cancer" and "God picks the prettiest flowers for his garden"  We know first hand how painful it is to lose your pet, we hope these wristbands will help with the healing process and know that each band sold, proceeds go towards a wonderful foundation that helps the less fortunate pet owners who cannot afford to get treatment for their pets who have cancer.  Charity breakdown - Cost per wristband for Cook's Crew is  $1.45 cents per bracelet.  Per bracelet, $3.55 cents will be donated to the Magic Bullet Fund and $1.26 goes towards first class shipping to you. Total Quantity Available - 78
