 David called Lindsey Rose right after his May 21 victory and promised her they would meet in person when the Idol tour made its way to her hometown. That day arrived on Aug. 21, and squeals of delight mingled with tears of joy as big-hearted David, 25, kept his promise to Lindsey Rose, treating her like a little princess during a special day together. "From the moment we arrived, David grabbed Lindsey by the hand and the two were inseparable," her father Charley Belcher, a feature reporter for Fox WTVT Channel 13 in Tampa, tells Star.
