 There really isn't a bad charity to support as long as the donations are used to further that societies cause. From the moment we created this site we have never considered the possibility of making money from it. We have no interest in capitalizing off of David's success. Our goal is to create an online oasis where David Cook fans can gather, discuss, and enjoy each others company. We want Cook's Crew to be a fun place for people of all ages to gather and talk about DC and his success. We'd also like to take this opportunity to raise money towards cancer awareness and to help educate people on cancer and how organizations like the ACS work towards developing a cure. Proceeds from all memberships, donations, and merchandise sale will be forwarded along to the American Cancer Society. We encourage Sponsors to help fund the site, afterall we do incur server fee's and the costs of purchasing the merchandise for sale here on the site. However anything above the actual costs of operation will go towards this charity and we pledge to never keep any profit off of any sale on this site. Please check our forum for more information on the American Cancer Society, each time we make a donation we'll list it inside the forum and upon the sites anniversary we'll total up the donations and announce how much we raised for the year.
